Cordell Winter is a singer-songwriter and poet whose work sits at the intersection of resilience, rebellion, and survival. He assembled his first paid youth band at nine. He has lived in a van, slept on studio floors, and forced his way onto Broadway and Music Row until the rooms had to listen.

Winter’s early ascent was shaped on the road with Mark Slaughter. In Nashville he slept on the doorstep of House of Blues Studios until multi-platinum producer Malcolm Springer opened the door. The result was Chaos In Light and the debut single “Feed Your Head.”

He has shared stages with Skid Row, Lita Ford, Quiet Riot, Warrant, Billy Gibbons, Jelly Roll, Aaron Lewis, Ziggy Marley, Billy Corgan, Stone Temple Pilots, Hinder, and Marilyn Manson. In 2025 he independently partnered with Cage the Elephant founding member Lincoln Parish to record Leave This World Alive. “Falling” is out now on Cranked Up Records.
